Terms and Conditions

All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions, so please ensure that you agree to them before making your advertisement booking.

Payment

Invoices will be raised at time of booking. Payment is due on receipt of invoice and can be made by cheque made payable to Go Local, BACS . When you make your booking, you are agreeing to pay the current price as advertised (or an alternative price as agreed between us in writing) by the due date as stated on your invoice. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if payment is not received by copy deadline. In cases of overdue accounts, we reserve the right to charge a late payment fee of £10 in addition to any fees incurred in the event of debt recovery.

Copyright

Adverts and editorials designed for you remain the property of The Woking Local Directory, and may not be used in any other publication or otherwise reproduced without our prior written permission. A release fee will be required of £10.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your booking, please ensure that you advise us in writing (email or letter) by the copy deadline. Cancellations can only be agreed and refunds made prior to copy going to print.

We reserve the right to refuse to publish copy that we deem to be defamatory, indecent or otherwise unsuitable. We also reserve the right to cancel your booking at our discretion, in which case we will notify you in writing. We will refund to you any money paid by you to us in respect of any part of your booking paid for but not fulfilled. We shall not be liable to make any additional payment of any kind.

Liability

You are responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion in The Woking Local Directory is legal and copyright free, and provided to us free from error, omission or inaccuracy. If you have requested that copy is written, designed or amended by us, it is your responsibility to check the copy to ensure that it is correct. You will have the opportunity to approve copy before publication. The Woking Local Directory cannot be held responsibile for any errors identified after copy approval. Please note that colours shown on copy for approval are for indicative purposes only, and due to the commercial printing process will not be exactly replicated in the final printed form.

All material published in The Woking Local Directory (including advertisements, editorials, articles and all other content) is printed in good faith, and whilst all reasonable care is taken, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy or otherwise of any material published, nor can we be seen to endorse any product or service, or be held responsible for the content or claims of advertisements or advertisers.

Amendments

The Woking Local Directory reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. Changes will be posted on this website and will take effect on the day they are posted.
